Escape room – what is it?
An escape room, also known as an escape game, is an adventure game where participants are ‘locked’ in a thematically decorated room and must solve puzzles, find clues, and collaborate as a team to escape within a set time limit. These rooms are often designed to reflect a specific story or theme, such as a detective’s office, a horror scenario, or historical settings.
The objective is to employ creativity, logical thinking, and teamwork to uncover hidden clues and solve the puzzles, ultimately discovering the key or code that unlocks the exit. Escape rooms are popular for team-building events, leisure activities with friends or family, and as unique experiential gifts. They offer an exciting and interactive way to collectively face challenges while having fun.
The popularity of escape rooms has surged globally, with many cities offering them as permanent installations or mobile events. In Switzerland, there is a growing number of escape rooms with varying levels of difficulty and themes, appealing to a wide audience.
Where to find us?
Our offices are located in the station subway at Solothurn station, on the Zuchwil side, after platform 10. We recommend travelling by public transport. If you are travelling by car, the regular parking spaces are available on both sides of the tracks. If you are travelling with a pushchair, walking frame, wheelchair, etc., we recommend arriving from platform 1 of the main building at the station, as there are ramps into the subway.
